Helen received her Athletic therapy Bachelors program at Sheridan college in 2019 and went on to pursue the Masters of Physiotherapy in Edinburgh, Scotland at Queen Margaret University, graduating in February of 2024.
Helen has had a variety of placements with many sports teams and had the pleasure and opportunity to travel with university teams around Canada, covered some major sporting events, and worked with professional and semi-professional soccer and football players. Through these, she refined her sports taping skills, and applied her emergency training as a Certified First Responder when required at on-field sporting events. In Scotland, Helen learned and practiced treating all ages, from neonates in the hospital, to the geriatric population in a home care. She has worked with a variety of conditions in cardiorespiratory, neurological, and musculoskeletal environments. This is where she also began her journey in becoming a pelvic floor physiotherapist.
Helen loves treating and helping people achieve their goals through sport and activity specific exercise, manual therapy, taping, and brace fitting. Helen believes it?s important for the patient to be in control of their rehabilitation and to provide them with the support and knowledge they need to meet their rehabilitation goals. Helen speaks English, French and Arabic.
